Heath Lake is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and local nature reserve based in Berkshire on the edge of Crowthorne. Heath Lake is the only example of an acid lake in Berkshire which still retains its characteristic flora. The site is managed by Wokingham Borough Council
The whole site is 6 hectares (15 acres) in size. The lake itself is 7 acres (2.8 ha) in size.
The 1 metre deep lake is stream and spring-fed.
In 1989 the site was designated a site of special scientific interest (SSSI).
In 1994 the site was declared as a local nature reserve by Wokingham Borough Council.
