Haviland Thin Mints are a chocolate-covered mint candy produced by the Haviland division of Necco. The candy is a mint filling covered in dark chocolate, similar to the York Peppermint Pattie but smaller, thinner and shorter.

Necco acquired the brand and related assets in September 1994, when it purchased them from Great American Brands (GAB), an investment group that had filed for bankruptcy earlier that year.

Prior to GAB's brief period of ownership, Haviland Thin Mints and related brands had been owned by Borden for over twenty years. The brand dates its origins to at least World War II, when it was one of the candies supplied to U.S. soldiers.

Haviland Thin Mints also come in flavors such as Raspberry Crème and Orange Crème.
