Halkapınar railway station (Turkish: Halkapınar istasyonu), previously known as Mersinli, is a station on the Northern Line of the İZBAN commuter rail system. It is part of the larger Halkapınar Transfer Center and is a major transportation hub in İzmir. The station has two island platforms serving four tracks. Halkapınar is serviced by all trains on the line; İZBAN commuter trains to Aliağa, Alsancak and Tepeköy as well as inter-city and regional trains operated by the Turkish State Railways to Bandırma, Balıkesir, Konya and Ankara.
Connection is available to the İzmir Metro system as well as ESHOT bus service which operates buses from two large terminals adjacent to the station. Due to Halkapınar's location on a junction to the Port of İzmir, the northernmost four tracks serve as a yard for freight cars usually being shunted around the area.
