Hadley Township (/ˈhædliː/, HAD-lee) is a civil township of Lapeer County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 4,655 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.0 square miles (93 km2), of which 35.3 square miles (91 km2) is land and 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2) (2.14%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 4,655 people, 1,573 households, and 1,338 families residing in the township. The population density was 131.9 per square mile (50.9/km²). There were 1,646 housing units at an average density of 46.7 per square mile (18.0/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.17% White, 0.04% African American, 0.28% Native American, 0.34% Asian, 0.24% from other races, and 0.92% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.14% of the population.
There were 1,573 households out of which 39.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.5% were married couples living together, 3.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 14.9% were non-families. 11.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 3.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.95 and the average family size was 3.21.
