I Carinae (I Car) is a star in the constellation Carina. It is a yellow-white F-type subgiant with an apparent magnitude of +3.99 and is approximately 52.9 light years from Earth.
In the next 7500 years, the south Celestial pole will pass close to this stars and Omega Carinae (5800 CE).
