Armament:

HMS Challenger was a 28-gun sixth rate of the Royal Navy. She was launched at Portsmouth, England on 14 November 1826. She was 125ft 6in long and 33ft wide, with an armament consisting of upper deck twenty 32-pounders, quarter deck six 18-pounders, forecastle two 9-pounders. Under the command of Charles Fremantle, she was in part responsible for the creation of the colony of Swan River in 1829.

She was wrecked off Mocha Island, Chile on 19 May 1835.
