Adagooru Huchegowda Vishwanath (born 15 December 1949) is an Indian politician and a former Member of Parliament of India. Vishwanath was member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India and represented the Mysore constituency of Karnataka. He was a member of the Indian National Congress before he quit the party in 2017.
Adagooru Huchegowda Vishwanath was born in Krishnarajanagara, Mysore district in the state of Karnataka. Vishwanath attended University of Mysore & Sarada Vilas College and holds BSc & LL.B. degrees. He is an advocate and an agriculturist by profession.
Adagooru Huchegowda Vishwanath has been in active politics since 1970s. He was a member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly for three terms, held State & Cabinet minister posts in the Government of Karnataka. Vishwanath is a member of the Indian National Congress political party. In 2009, he contested for 15th Lok Sabha and succeeded C.H. Vijayashankar. During his term as M.P, Vishwanath is also member of several committees.
