This is a list of characters that appear in the Camp Half-Blood chronicles (which consists of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, The Heroes of Olympus series, and The Trials of Apollo series), The Kane Chronicles, and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard.
Perseus "Percy" Jackson is a young demigod, the son of the mortal Sally Jackson and the Greek god Poseidon. He is the main protagonist and first-person narrator in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series and appears directly in every book of the Camp Half-Blood chronicles except The Lost Hero. He is twelve years old in The Lightning Thief. In The Blood of Olympus, Percy and his girlfriend Annabeth Chase plan to finish senior year in New York before heading to the college in New Rome (a sentiment they reiterate in The Hidden Oracle).
The powers he inherited from his father include controlling water, making hurricanes, breathing underwater, and talking to horses (like a pegasus named Blackjack) and sea creatures. He is also a notably good swordsman. Percy's fatal flaw is excessive personal loyalty, which he does not at first see as a danger. Throughout the series, Percy fights by using a ballpoint pen named Anaklusmos (Ancient Greek for "riptide") that changes into a "celestial bronze" sword when uncapped (in the books) or clicked (in the movies). He is described as having a "Mediterranean" complexion, with black hair and his father's sea green eyes.
In the films, he is portrayed by Logan Lerman.
