Clyde Lewis (born on February 22, 1963) is an American talk radio host and conspiracy theorist of historical and current events. He is the creator and host of Ground Zero, a talk radio show on KXL-FM and distributed by Premiere Networks dealing with paranormal and parapolitical topics.
Lewis was born in Murray, Utah. He attended Murray High School and received average grades in high school, and after graduating in 1981, he joined the punk rock band The Red Rockets and became the lead singer, before leaving the band in 1984 to go to college. Lewis majored in graphic design at Utah State University before dropping out to move to Salt Lake City and became a successful bodybuilder.
Lewis, talks about the possibility of numerous conspiracies and supernatural phenomena. In a 2012 interview Lewis said beings from outer space have come to earth and "They are here to eat us...We are being farmed for our organs." He also believes the moon landing in 1969 was faked. Lewis says President Barack Obama was born in Africa and is therefore not eligible to be president of the United States. He says that Obama "was conceived during a CIA operation" to infiltrate "communists" because "communists were black at that time." President George W. Bush was also a project of intelligence agencies, having been subjected to mind control in order to turn him into a "Manchurian candidate," according to Lewis. Lewis speaks positively of Russian President Vladimir Putin, as reflected on his Ground Zero website: "Vladimir Putin has been instrumental in rebelling against the hostile encroachment of the World Government and has challenged Barack Obama on his decisions to embrace the new World Order."
