Thrash metal, progressive metal, avant-garde metal
Grin is the fifth studio album by the Swiss thrash metal band Coroner, the band's final album before their fourteen-year break up from 1996 to 2010 (although their compilation album, 1995's Coroner featured several new tracks). The album is considered a major departure from Coroner's early work, consisting of elements of groove metal and industrial metal, with much less emphasis on speed and technicality. Grin is the last Coroner album to feature drummer Marky Edelmann, who left the band in 2014.
