Grenville Clark


Grenville Clark (November 5, 1882 – January 13, 1967) cowrote the book World Peace Through World Law. A Wall Street lawyer, he was elected to the corporation that governs Harvard University in 1931. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by numerous people, from 1959 to 1964.

As a member of the Military Training Camps Association, a World War I veterans' group, Clark authored the Burke-Wadsworth Bill.

He was honored by the US Postal Service with a 39¢ Great Americans series (1980-2000) postage stamp.
