RBS Securities, formerly Greenwich Capital Markets, is a United States broker-dealer ultimately owned by The Royal Bank of Scotland Group in the United Kingdom. It is based in Stamford, Connecticut and specialises in fixed income arbitrage and other fixed income strategies.

Since 2016, it has been part of the newly re-formed NatWest Markets investment banking arm, created from the Group's corporate and institutional banking division.

Established in 1981, Greenwich Capital Markets was acquired by Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan in 1988 and divested to National Westminster Bank in 1996.

From 1998 until 2000, when National Westminster Bank was taken over by the RBS Group, it was part of Greenwich NatWest under the joint management of co-chief executives Gary Holloway and Konrad "Chip" Kruger.

Greenwich Capital Markets Inc. became RBS Securities Inc. (trading as RBS) in 2009, prior to which it had used the marketing name RBS Greenwich Capital. It is a direct subsidiary of RBS Holdings USA Inc. (until 2009, known as Greenwich Capital Holdings Inc.), whose direct parent is Delaware-registered NatWest Group Holdings Corporation, which was formed in 1996 to facilitate the purchase.

A separate entity, RBS Securities Japan Limited, registered in Hong Kong and regulated and authorised by the Japanese Financial Services Agency, operates through its Tokyo branch. A direct subsidiary of The Royal Bank of Scotland, it provides credit trading, bonds, swaps, equity derivatives and related financial services. In conjunction with RBS Group's acquisition of parts of ABN AMRO Bank (now RBS N.V.), the two banks' Tokyo branches were consolidated in 2009.

RBS Securities Japan was established as County Securities Japan in 1986; the company became County NatWest Securities Japan in 1987, NatWest Securities Japan in 1995 and Greenwich NatWest Securities Japan in 1998, before adopting the present name in 2001.
