Greenbrier Valley Airport (IATA: LWB, ICAO: KLWB, FAA LID: LWB) is a public airport three miles (5 km) north of Lewisburg in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, United States. It has one runway and is owned by the Greenbrier County Airport Authority.Silver Airways ("United Express") has scheduled airline flights, subsidized by the Essential Air Service program, to Washington-Dulles International Airport, which replaced Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport in summer 2012. Silver Airways also flies to Atlanta-Hartsfield International Airport as an independent airline, replacing Delta Connection.
Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 7,153 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 4,651 in 2009 and 12,293 in 2010. It is in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which called it a non-primary commercial service airport based on enplanements in 2008/2009 (between 2,500 and 10,000 per year).
The 2013 Federal sequester was forecasted to result in the closure of the airport's control tower which would have then required pilots to rely on air traffic controllers from other airports.
