Governors of Uttar Pradesh

Following is the list of Governors of Uttar Pradesh. This also includes Governors of United Provinces of Independent India from 15 august 1947 to 26 January 1950.

On 15 August 1947 India achieved independence from the British rule.

The province was renamed Uttar Pradesh on 26 January 1950, headed by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.
