Good Hope is located at 33°47′13″N 83°36′35″W / 33.78694°N 83.60972°W / 33.78694; -83.60972 (33.786925, -83.609638).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.7 km²), of which, 1.8 square miles (4.7 km²) of it is land and 0.56% is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 210 people, 85 households, and 66 families residing in the town. The population density was 119.2 people per square mile (46.1/km²). There were 89 housing units at an average density of 50.5 per square mile (19.5/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 95.71% White, 0.95% African American, 1.43% Native American, 0.48% from other races, and 1.43% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.95% of the population.
