Go Insane is the second solo album by American singer/songwriter and Fleetwood Mac vocalist/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. The album was released in 1984 while Fleetwood Mac was on a hiatus between albums. It reached #45 on the US Billboard album chart. The album was dedicated to former girlfriend, Carol Ann Harris, with whom he had just ended a relationship.

(On the vinyl version, there is a "locked groove" at the end of Side One on the song "Play in the Rain". This allows the closing section of the song to play until the needle reaches the label of the record.
"D.W. Suite" was written for Dennis Wilson, who died the December before the album was released. Buckingham had always been a big Beach Boys fan. Dennis Wilson was engaged to Christine McVie from 1978-1980.
Additional personnel
Two promotional music videos were shot for the album, these included "Go Insane" and "Slow Dancing". Neither of these videos are commercially available.
