In 1990, GlobalVision introduced automated proofreading technology to Pharmaceutical and their print suppliers with its Text Verification System (TVS), a camera-based system to compare artwork vs.s proofs.
In 2014, the company unveiled the first native Mac inspection application designed for pre-press operators.
In 2008 GlobalVision announced that they were working with 15 out of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies. An associate director from pharmaceutical company Wyeth credited GlobalVision for significant benefits and financial savings from using their system. In 2013 Pfizer chooses GlobalVision for their packaging quality control solution. In 2013, Zoetis selects GlobalVision as their partner in proofreading technology. In 2015 the top 3 pharmaceutical companies in India implemented GlobalVision's proofreading solution in order to eliminate errors from packaging.
In 2017, GlobalVision released its desktop Quality Control Platform, an all-in-one platform for packaging and labeling quality control.
GlobalVision introduced its first web-based Quality Control Platform, QCanywhere, which won awards in 2013 for High Technology by the Montreal West Island Chamber of Commerce. This was followed by the introduction of a more advanced version of the platform, Proofware, in 2014.
GlobalVision is an ISO 9001:2008 certified in order to meet the requirements of the Life Sciences industry. GlobalVision's proofreading solutions meet the FDA 21 CFR Part 11 / Annex 11 requirements, which states that requirements for the technical and procedural controls that must be met by the regulated user if the regulated user chooses to maintain regulated records electronically.
