Glenn "Abe" Martin (January 19, 1906 – April 17, 1997) was an American football, basketball and baseball coach. He was the fifth head football coach for the Southern Illinois Salukis (SIU) in Carbondale, Illinois, a position he held for ten seasons from 1939 to 1949. His overall coaching record at SIU was 31 wins, 42 losses and 5 ties. This ranks him fourth at SIU in terms of total wins and tenth in terms of winning percentage.
On April 30, 1972, Southern Illinois' baseball field was dedicated in honor of Martin, who retired from the athletic department in 1971. Martin was the Saluki baseball coach from 1946 to 1964.
