Giving Birth to a Stone is the debut album of UK metal band Peach, released in 1994. It was re-released in 2000, with different artwork, designed by Adam Jones of Tool. It was re-released again globally on April 2, 2007 through Sony BMG - and is also being made available in downloadable formats.
All songs written by Peach, except "Catfood", written by Robert Fripp, Peter Sinfield & Ian McDonald. Songs 2, 6 & 8 produced by Jessica Corcoran at Green House Studios. Songs 1 & 3 produced by Ian Shaw at Shaw Sound. Songs 4, 7, 9 & 10 engineered by Andy Levine at RMS, licensed from Rockford Management for and on behalf of Mad Minute. Song 5 recorded at The Palace of Light and Sound by Peach. All songs published by Rhythm King Music / Mad Minute, except "Catfood".
