Giuseppe Gricci (c 1700 - 1770), an Italian sculptor, was trained in his native Florence before moving to Naples in 1738, where he became the chief modeler at the Capodimonte porcelain manufactory. He moved to Madrid in 1759 and managed the Real Fábrica del Buen Retiro. His Salottino di Porcellana, installed in 1757-9 at the royal villa of Portici near Naples, was the prototype of his porcelain revetments in two Gabienetes de la Porcelana made by the Buen Retiro manufactory and installed at Aranjuez and at Madrid.
Gricci died in Madrid.
