Girdhari Lal Dogra

Girdhari Lal (born Bhaiya Village, Kathua District, 17 July 1915; d 27 November 1987) was a member of the Lok Sabha from Jammu and Kashmir, a member of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and served as Finance minister of the state for 26 years.

He was a member of 7th and 8th Lok Sabha from Jammu and Udhampur respectively. He studied at Hindu College, Amritsar and later at Law College, Lahore. He was an advocate by profession and was the father-in-law of Arun Jaitley (via his daughter Sangeeta).
