Gillingham Town Football Club is a football club based in Gillingham, Dorset, England. The club is affiliated to the Dorset County Football Association and is a FA chartered Standard club. They are currently members of the Western League Premier Division and play at Harding's Lane.
Founded on 14 November 1879, the club is the oldest in Dorset, and joined the Dorset Combination in 1970. The league was later renamed the Dorset Premier, and Gillingham finished runners-up in 2002–03. They repeated this in 2007–08 and gained promotion to the Western Football League Division One. They won the Dorset Senior Cup in 2009–10, beating Wimborne Town 2–1 after extra time in the final, on 13 April 2010. The club was promoted to the Premier Division in 2011–12 after finishing third.
