George Wilson (4 March 1756 – 6 March 1826) was an officer in the Royal Navy who saw service in the American War of Independence, the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars.
Wilson joined the Royal Navy under John Jervis in HMS Foudroyant, where he stayed for seven years. He was made a post-captain on 1 February 1780, a rear-admiral on 14 February 1799; a vice-admiral on 23 April 1804, and an admiral on 25 October 1809.
