George Chip (Lit. Jurgis Čepulionis, August 25, 1888 – November 8, 1960) was the World Middleweight Champion from 1913 to 1914.

He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania but was raised in New Castle, Pennsylvania in what is today the Pittsburgh metropolitan area and most of his matches were in the Pittsburgh area. On 11 October 1913, Chip knocked out Frank Klaus during the sixth round at the championship match at the old Pittsburgh City Hall at Market Square [1]. Less than a year later, Chip lost his title to Al McCoy in a surprise first round knock-out. George Chip died on November 8, 1960 at his adopted hometown of New Castle, Pennsylvania.
