Gauti Eggertsson

Gauti B. Eggertsson is a Professor of Economics at Brown University.

Eggertsson received his B.S. in economics from the University of Iceland, and received his Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University in 2004.

Eggertsson has worked at the research departments of the International Monetary Fund (2002-2004) and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (2004-2012). The main focus of Eggertsson's work is the analysis of monetary and fiscal policy over the business cycle.
