Kapitänleutnant Friedrich Eckoldt (20 June 1887 – 31 May 1916) was a German naval officer killed during World War I. He commanded torpedo boat V 48 which was sunk during the Battle of Jutland.
The Second World War German destroyer Z 16 was named Friedrich Eckoldt in his honour; it was sunk with all hands during the Battle of the Barents Sea by the British light cruiser HMS Sheffield (C24).
