Fredrikinkatu

Fredrikinkatu (Swedish: Fredriksgatan, in Helsinki slang Freda) is a street in Helsinki that starts from the intersection of Tarkk'ampujankatu, Pursimiehenkatu, Laivurinkatu and Laivurinrinne (known as Viiskulma in Finnish) in the district of Punavuori and continues north by the western side of Kamppi Center until it reaches Lutherinkatu and the Temppeliaukio Church in Etu-Töölö.

The majority of Fredrikinkatu is a one-way street going north, although Helsinki's tram lines (3B and 3T) on it run in both directions between the Viiskulma intersection and Bulevardi. Tram lines are also being laid along Fredrikinkatu between Urho Kekkosen katu and Arkadiankatu.

The majority of the buildings along Fredrikinkatu are full of small shops and boutiques, especially in the area between Iso-Roobertinkatu and Eerikinkatu.
