Franz Erhard Walther

Franz Erhard Walther (b. July 22, 1939 in Fulda, Germany) is a German multi-disciplinary conceptual and process artist. He participated in Documentas 5, 6, 7, and 8. In 1994 he won the Piepenbrock Prize for Sculpture.

At the 2017 Biennale di Venezia in he was awarded the Golden Lion as the best artist in the central exhibition.
