Franklinville is a town in Randolph County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,164 at the 2010 census.

The Franklinville Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Franklinville is located at 35°44′40″N 79°41′30″W / 35.74444°N 79.69167°W / 35.74444; -79.69167 (35.744312, -79.691567).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2), of which, 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2) of it is land and 0.80% is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1,258 people, 441 households, and 324 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,021.2 people per square mile (394.9/km²).
