Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park is a synthetic (i.e., man-made) recreation park in San Dimas, California of Los Angeles County. It is near the Orange Freeway (State Route 57), the Foothill Freeway (Interstate 210) and the San Bernardino Freeway (Interstate 10). It is named after former LA County Supervisor Frank G. Bonelli
The park contains a 250 acre (1 km²) lake called Puddingstone Reservoir, which provides a place for fishing, swimming, sailing, wind surfing, boating, jet skiing, etc.…along with a waterfall.
There are also other recreations in the park include: kayak rentals (by Wheel Fun), RV camp grounds adjacent to the park (separate facility), 6 play grounds, barbecues, hiking, hot tubs (permanently closed), biking, and family picnic areas. There are also Private Picnic Areas for Company Picnics, Company Parties, Church Picnics and other Group Events or Gatherings. The Private Picnic Areas are run exclusively by James Events [1] which has a contract with Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation. However, families and small groups are welcome to contact the park directly to reserve other areas of the park.
In addition to the recreation activities the park offers, it is also adjacent to one of the areas largest water parks: Raging Waters.
