For the Record is an investigative documentary television series on TheBlaze. The show was born from the idea from Glenn Beck that "real investigative journalism is dead" and that For the Record would "restore the truth" in journalism. A pilot episode titled "For the Record Presents: The Machine" aired on November 1, 2012. Season One first aired on March 13, 2013.
The 2013 season of For the Record debuted on March 13, 2013. The first four episodes were 60 minutes long and ran every other month. The final nine episodes were 30 minutes long and aired weekly.
The spring 2014 season of For the Record debuted on February 12, 2014 with a 60-minute episode. The final nine episodes were 30 minutes long.
The autumn 2014 season of For the Record debuted September 17, 2014. It included 10 episodes plus a special hour-long documentary from the producers of "For The Record" called "Beltway Nation."
Season four of For the Record premiered Wednesday, February 18, 2015 with new host Sara Carter. It includes eight episodes.
Season five of For the Record premiered in September 2015 with a new schedule and a new format without a consistent host. Instead of weekly episodes, the show now produces approximately one episode per month.
Season six of For the Record premiered in February 2016 and will run through June.
