Flower is a song by American alternative rock band Sonic Youth. It was released as a single in 1985 by record label Homestead, backed by Halloween, and also released the following year by record label Blast First with "Satan Is Boring" as the B-side. It also appeared on re-releases of the band's 1985 album Bad Moon Rising.
"Flower" was released as a single with "Halloween" as a B-side in 1985. The following year, it was released again with the B-side "Satan Is Boring", but this version was quickly withdrawn at the band's request.
"Flower" has been released as a bonus track on the CD reissue of the band's 1985 album Bad Moon Rising.
The tracks were recorded and mixed at Radio Tokyo in Venice, California in January 1985.

The CD release of the Bad Moon Rising album from Geffen Records also contains this single.
Halloween was covered by Mudhoney, originally recorded in 1988 for the split single Touch Me I'm Sick/Halloween, on which each band covered each other. The song was also released on Superfuzz Bigmuff Plus Early Singles in 1990.
