Flag of Minorca

The flag of Minorca was adopted on 14 November 1983. It is based on and similar to the flag of Majorca. It is the predominantly red and yellow Catalan-Aragonese (Senyera) flag with the coat-of-arms of Minorca.

During the British colonial period which ended in 1802, the British Union Flag was used.
