Fighting with My Family

Fighting with My Family is an upcoming comedy-drama film based off the life of WWE superstar Paige and the 2012 Lambent Productions documentary directed by Max Fisher, The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family. It will be directed and written by Stephen Merchant, with Dwayne Johnson executive producing and also appearing in the film.

The Bevis family, who all are professional wrestlers, try to work through the issues that arise when Saraya receives a contract to work with the WWE.

The project was first announced on February 7, 2017, when Dwayne Johnson and Stephen Merchant teamed with WWE Studios to produce a film based off the life of Saraya "Paige" Bevis, a wrestler currently with the WWE. Merchant will write and direct, with Johnson appearing in the film and executive producing. Florence Pugh was cast as Saraya. The next day, it was announced by Johnson via his Instagram page that Lena Headey and Nick Frost were cast as Saraya's parents, with Deadline disclosing that Jack Lowden was cast as Saraya's older brother Zack.Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer acquired the distribution rights on February 10. On February 14, Johnson posted on his Instagram that Vince Vaughn had been cast and that filming would commence the following day. Scenes were filmed before and after WWE Monday Night RAW on February 20, 2017 (which featured an infamous incident of Dwayne Johnson leaving AJ Lee's real-life husband, CM Punk, a voicemail) Scenes were also filmed after SmackDown and 205 Live on February 21, 2017. Filming has also taken place around Norwich with locations around the city as Mousehold Heath and Norwich Market being used on 3rd & 4th April 2017.
