The fiery-billed aracari or fiery-billed araçari (US /ˌɑːrəˈsɑːri/ AHR-ə-SAHR-ee,UK /ˌɑːrəˈsɑːri/ ARR-ə-SAHR-ee or /ˌɑːrəˈkɑːri/ ARR-ə-KAHR-ee; Pteroglossus frantzii) is a toucan, a near-passerine bird. It breeds only on the Pacific slopes of southern Costa Rica and western Panama. The binomial commemorates the German naturalist Alexander von Frantzius.
