Fey is a municipality in the district of Gros-de-Vaud in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

Fey is first mentioned in 1228 as Fei.

Fey has an area, as of 2009, of 7.35 square kilometers (2.84 sq mi). Of this area, 5.03 km2 (1.94 sq mi) or 68.4% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.94 km2 (0.75 sq mi) or 26.4% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.42 km2 (0.16 sq mi) or 5.7% is settled (buildings or roads) and 0.01 km2 (2.5 acres) or 0.1% is unproductive land.

Of the built up area, housing and buildings made up 2.4% and transportation infrastructure made up 2.9%. Out of the forested land, all of the forested land area is covered with heavy forests. Of the agricultural land, 52.0% is used for growing crops and 15.5% is pastures.

The municipality was part of the Echallens District until it was dissolved on 31 August 2006, and Fey became part of the new district of Gros-de-Vaud.

The municipality is located in the Gros-de-Vaud region.

The blazon of the municipal coat of arms is Argent, a Beech Tree eradicated Vert.

Fey has a population (as of December 2015) of 636. As of 2008, 11.9% of the population are resident foreign nationals. Over the last 10 years (1999–2009 ) the population has changed at a rate of 28.7%. It has changed at a rate of 26.3% due to migration and at a rate of 2.8% due to births and deaths.

Most of the population (as of 2000) speaks French (402 or 95.3%), with German being second most common (6 or 1.4%) and Portuguese being third (6 or 1.4%). There is 1 person who speaks Italian.
