The Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI; Chinese: 香港工業總會) is a business organisation for the industrial companies in Hong Kong established under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries Ordinance, Cap. 321 of the laws of Hong Kong, in 1960.
It was set up on the foundation of the Advisory Committee set up by the government in 1958 and later developed into a Working Party in 1959. The Federation was officially established in 1960 and the chairman of the Working Party Chau Sik-nin was elected the first Chairman of the Federation.
Since 1985, the Federation has its Legislative Council representative through the Industrial (First) functional constituency.
The objectives of the Federation are:
The General Committee is the Federation's policy-making and management authority, while the Secretariat is responsible for policy implementation and day-to-day operations.
