The Fat Killahz is an American four-piece hip hop collective from Detroit, Michigan, consisting of Fatt Father (real name Shabazz Ford),Bang Belushi (previously known as Shim-E-Bango), MarvWon (real name Marvin O'Neil), and King Gordy (real name Waverly Alford).
Marv One and Fatt Father formed Fat Killahz in 2001 and enlisted Shim-E-Bango and King Gordy shortly thereafter. The brand new hip hop quartet performed at the local spots of Detroit city, participating in the open mics and battle rap contest shows. They hit the studio and released their 2 Fat, 2 Furious mixtape in 2002, which gained positive reactions throughout Detroit. Same year, Hexmurda of Almighty Dreadnaughtz became a King Gordy's manager and helps him to sign with Web Entertainment, and Marv One won battle rap competition for casting in then-upcoming movie with Eminem. Both rappers starred in 8 Mile, however, Marv's rap battle scene with Em was included only as an extra. In 2003, Gordy dropped his debut album The Entity featured his F.K. groupmates, Bizarre, Obie Trice, and audio production by Eminem on three tracks. The group followed up a successful run supporting Gordy as the opening act on D12's US tour in 2004 with the release of their WFKR 31.3 FKM: FK Radio The Mixtape "The World's Largerst Mixtape". Their debut full-length album Guess Who's Coming To Dinner? was released via No Tyze Entertainment on March 15, 2005, with production from Mr. Porter, B.R. Gunna, DJ Houseshoes among others. The group went on their first hiatus for six years until they came back with their extended play album titled The E.P. released via Morbid Music LLC. Formally, the group is on their second hiatus since 2011.
