Farsley Celtic Football Club are a football club based in Farsley, in West Yorkshire, England. They were established in 2010 after the disbandment of Farsley Celtic A.F.C. and commenced playing in the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division as Farsley A.F.C. The club gained promotion to the Northern Premier League Division One North in the 2011–12 season.
In May 2015 they were allowed to add the 'Celtic' suffix to their name, thus becoming Farsley Celtic F.C.
Farsley A.F.C.'s first game was a 3–1 win against AFC Emley in a pre-season friendly on 14 July 2010. Farsley A.F.C's first competitive match was a League game which finished in an 8–2 win away at Arnold Town on 7 August 2010. Farsley A.F.C's first competitive home match was a 3–2 win over Brighouse Town in the Presidents Cup, while their first home league match was also against Brighouse Town, which ended in a 2–1 loss.
After starting the season in good form, Farsley struggled with momentum in the winter months and were on the backfoot in the league chase with Bridlington Town and Parkgate. However, they embarked on a 14-game unbeaten run in the league which saw them crowned champions on the penultimate week of the season. During the run, Farsley also made progress in the NCEL League and Presidents Cups where they reached the final in both and had the chance to complete the league and cups treble, a feat no NCEL team had previously achieved. Unfortunately, the President's Cup final ended in a heavy 5–1 defeat to Tadcaster Albion. There was better news in the League Cup, however, which was won with a 1–0 win over Winterton Rangers; an 88th-minute goal from Ryan Watson securing the trophy.
