Farhad Mann (US Citizen / Canadian Citizen) is a director, screenwriter, cinematographer and editor of film, television and commercials. He directed the feature film, Fighting For Freedom (2012), starring Kristanna Loken, Jose Maria Yazpik, Patricia De Leon, and Academy Award nominee and Emmy nominee, Bruce Dern. He also wrote and directed Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace (1996) for New Line Cinema and his pilot Max Headroom (1987) ABC won several Emmy's. He directed the critically acclaimed Face of Fear, the Dean Koontz best-selling novel. The next pilot he directed, Nick Knight, which became the long-running Forever Knight, was picked up by CBS.

Farhad’s commercials include Pepsi, Toyota, McDonald's, Coors, American Express, Chevrolet, Budweiser, Coke and others. They have won fifty-seven international awards, including three Clio Awards, Chicago Film Festival, the IBA Award and the New York Film Festival.

Farhad is Iranian and has spent much of his life traveling. He holds a dual US Citizenship and Canadian Citizenship. He earned a Masters Film Degree with Distinction at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Farhad's student film "Frames", a short black comedy about an obsessed filmmaker and his girlfriend, won an award from the Academy of TV and Motion Pictures.

Farhad was married once and now lives with his daughter in Los Angeles, California. He enjoys all aspects of the arts including; film, theater, music and visual arts.

Farhad started his own production company, FMPI. FMPI is an award-winning company that produces commercials, television, feature films and integrated media.
