Fanny Vining or Fanny Elizabeth Vining Davenport; Fanny Elizabeth Vining; Frances Vining Davenport (17 July 1829 – 20 July 1891) was an English actress who emigrated to America.

Vining was born in London in 1829. She was the daughter of Frederick Vining who managed the Haymarket Theatre in London. Her life is the subject of some supposition as she can be confused with another actress also known as Fanny Elizabeth Vining. This Vining was born in 1829 and appeared in at the Olympia in The Two Gentlemen of Verona in 1849. The same year she married an American actor named Edward Loomis Davenport. They emigrated and had nine children and six of these were actors. She appeared frequently in leading roles with her husband who died in 1877. She died in 1891 following an unsuccessful operation.

Her children included Fanny Lily Gipsy Davenport and Harry George Bryant Davenport. Fanny led her own acting troupe and Harry was one of the first American film actors.
