Falmer railway station is on the outskirts of Brighton, south-east England. It is operated by Southern and lies on the East Coastway Line.

The station serves the village of Falmer as well as the University of Sussex campus and the University of Brighton Falmer Campus. It also serves Falmer Stadium, the new home of Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. (opened August 2011). The buildings on the down (eastbound) platform side include a well-preserved, unusual example of a signal-box.

The original station was approximately 1 mile east of its present location, and opened on 8 June 1846. It was moved to its present location, much closer to the village, on 1 August 1865, and rebuilt in 1890. The buildings on the down (eastbound) platform date from this time, but modern replacements have been installed on the westbound side.

The typical off-peak service is:

Additional matchday-only trains operate to and from Falmer from Brighton and Lewes to serve the Falmer Stadium.

In addition, most matchday services are strengthened with extra carriages, although when matches occur midweek, there isn't always enough stock to strengthen all services. The strengthening of these services has caused the platforms at Falmer to be extended to 8 car to accommodate these longer trains.

A queuing system is in operation in both directions after full-time at the stadium.
