Fallowfield Township is a township in Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 4,321 at the 2010 census.

Fallowfield is named for Lancelot Fallowfield, one of the first purchasers of land from William Penn.

The John H. Nelson House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 21.3 square miles (55 km2), of which, 21.3 square miles (55 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) of it (0.19%) is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4,461 people, 1,765 households, and 1,313 families residing in the township. The population density was 209.6 people per square mile (80.9/km²). There were 1,878 housing units at an average density of 88.2/sq mi (34.1/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 97.85% White, 1.43% African American, 0.07% Native American, 0.16% Asian, 0.07% from other races, and 0.43% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.63% of the population.

There were 1,765 households out of which 24.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.6% were married couples living together, 7.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.6% were non-families. 22.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.50 and the average family size was 2.92.
