Football Club Aprilia (formerly A.C. Aprilia) is an Italian association football club based in Aprilia, Lazio.
The club was founded in 1971 as Associazione Calcio Aprilia.
In 2009 the club, which was playing in Eccellenza Lazio, acquired the sports rights of Serie D team F.C. Latina, which were made available after the latter club merged with US Virtus Latina to form Latina and thus becomes F.C. Rondinelle Latina SSD.
On 26 May 2010 the club changed name to the current one, back then the name of the city after a year of transition.
At the end of the 2010–11 season the club won group G of Serie D and was promoted to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione.
The debut in the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione for the 2011–2012 season was very satisfying finishing fifth and securing a place in the playoffs for promotion to Lega Pro Prima Divisione, losing in the semi-final to Chieti.
