Bulgaria and BNT chose Deep Zone & DJ Balthazar with "DJ, Take Me Away" to go to the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. They failed to qualify for the final coming in 11th in the semi-final.

The Bulgarian national final, "EuroBGvision 2008" (Bulgarian: ЕвроBGвизия 2008), was the first part of the Bulgarian selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008. It consisted of nine shows which aired every Sunday night from October 7, 2007 to December 16, 2007.

The Bulgarian selection process started with a show called ЕвроBGвизия (EuroBGvision). The show ran for the months of October, November and December 2007 and showcased local and amateur talents. Each month contained a total of three shows, and each show had between five and eight songs. At the end of each month there was a special show which featured all the songs from that month and the public selected three songs to advance to the semi-final. A second-chance round was held at the end of January 2008 when an "expert" jury looked at all the remaining songs from ЕвроBGвизия plus any new songs having been submitted before the end of 2007. This "expert" jury then chose additionally nine songs bringing the total number of songs in the semi-final up to 18.

The top nine songs of the semi-final advanced to the grand final and BNT added three further wildcards to these, making a final of 12 songs. 100% televoting selected the winning entry which then represented Bulgaria in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest.

Bulgaria took part in the second semi-final on 22 May 2008 where it failed to qualify for the final, coming in 11th place.
