Saint Eigrad was a 6th-century Pre-congregational saint of North Wales and Patron Saint of Llaneigrad.
He was a son of king Caw of Strathclyde, a Brother of Saints Gildas, and Samson of York and was a student of Saint Illtud
In 605AD he founded a church in Llaneugrad, Anglesey and his brother St Saint Gallgo, founded a church nearby. Today the two churches form the one parish.
His feast day is 6 January, and is remembered in the villages of Egreas and Llaneigrad on Anglesey.
