Eugen-Heinrich Bleyer (20 November 1896 – 18 March 1979) was a highly decorated Generalleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, Nazi Germany's highest award for valour. Bleyer was captured by Yugoslavian troops in May 1945. In 1949 he was sentenced to death, but his sentence was changed to 18 years imprisonment and he was released in 1952.
