Eucalyptus obconica is a mallee tree that is native to the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
The mallee or tree typically grows to a height of 2.5 to 10 metres (8 to 33 ft) and has rough grey box type bark. It blooms between March and May producing white flowers
The species is found on rocky hill sides in the Kimberley region where it grows in skeletal soils over sandstone or quartzite.
