Etsuko Ichihara (市原 悦子 Ichihara Etsuko?, born 24 January 1936) is a Japanese actress. She has appeared in more than one hundred films since 1957.

Ichihara joined the Haiyuza theater troupe in 1957 and made her debut in Rikō na oyomesan. Winning an award at the 1959 Geijutsusai for Chidori, she became the star of Haiyuza, but left the troupe in 1971. She has appeared in film and on television, and is also known for narrating the long-running anime series Manga Nihon mukashi banashi. In 1989, she won the Japan Academy Prize for best supporting actress for Black Rain.
