Esperiopsis is a genus of demosponges, comprising around 40 species found in oceans around the world. Cladorhiza is the type genus of the family Cladorhizidae.

The name could be an alternate form of Hesperia as Esperia, the ancient name of a region once existed. The second form -opsis means eyes, as sponges has no eyes, the pores are shaped like eyes..
